With Dan’s and Phil’s vision, hard work, perseverance as well as their persistent focus on doing things right for customers, HVAC Concepts has grown into a premier provider of BAS, EMS and Systems Integration, and 24/7 Remote Monitoring and Alarm Management services for the Building IoT in the Washington, DC area and along the eastern United States.

There are many people that work very hard to make HVAC Concepts successful and without them we would not be able to achieve the level of service and excellence our customers expect and deserve.

Chief Operating Officer/Partner, Fidelity Mechanical Services & Building Automation Systems

 

Carmine Mistichelli is the Chief Operating Officer/Partner of Fidelity Mechanical Services & Building Automation Systems, a Fidelity Engineering, LLC company based in Sparks, Maryland. Carmine joined the organization in 1997 as a field employee, learning the fundamentals of Fidelity as well as the HVAC industry. His experience in the field spans more than 20 years.

In his current role at Fidelity, Carmine oversees day-to-day business operations, provides short- and long-term strategic planning and manages business development opportunities by working with investors, developers, owners and management companies of various sizes and complexities.

Carmine’s ingenuity in business and commitment to providing Fidelity customers with Proactive, World-Class Service has secured the organization as a leader in the HVAC and mechanical services industries. His business acumen and management skills have contributed to the company’s growth, which now has a presence throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, with remote locations in Beltsville, Maryland and Ashburn, Virginia.

In addition to his work, Carmine is an avid philanthropist. He was the 2017 recipient of the Salvation Army of Central Maryland’s Community Commitment Award for his dedication to central Maryland. He is also a donor at Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC) and served on the Board of Directors at the United Way of Central Maryland.

Carmine graduated Cum Laude from Strayer University with a Bachelor of Science in Business. In 2017, he earned a Certificate of Professional Development in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Carmine’s greatest achievements in life include building a family with his wife and being a father to his two young sons. He and his family reside in Glen Arm, Maryland.

Dan DruryDaniel Drury

President

 

Daniel Drury joined HVAC Concepts in 1988 as a programming intern. Since then he has lived through the evolution of Building Management Systems. Dan is a strong advocate of open systems and solutions being in the customers best interests. Dan is hands on with programming and the design of most customer projects.

Philip RedmanPhilip Redman

Sr. Vice President & Partner

 

In 2006, Phil Redman joined HVAC Concepts and has been instrumental in expanding the organization’s business and customer base. His 13 years with HVAC Concepts has resulted in significant growth in all sectors of the organization. Through his leadership, expertise and vision, Phil helped grow HVAC Concepts from a $3 million a year company to generating $15 million a year. Additionally, the employee base has grown from 20 employees in 2006 to just over 70 employees today. Most importantly, because of its strong customers relationships, Phil helped grow the organization’s geographical footprint and now services customers who have locations all along the East Coast, including Boston and parts of Florida.

Today, as the Sr. Vice President and Partner of HVAC Concepts, Phil oversees the organization’s sales force and ensures proper design of equipment to meet customers’ needs. Because of his background in writing/designing of building automation programs, Phil’s extensive knowledge of the industry has made him a trusted voice among HVAC Concepts’ clients. He understands not only the particulars of the industry but also the intricacies of HVAC Concepts, as he first started as a Monitoring Center Supervisor and then moved into sales.

Phil holds a Master HVAC license in Maryland and Virginia, as well as a Mechanical HVAC Journeyman license in Washington, D.C. In addition, Phil holds a 3rd class Steam Engineer license for Washington, D.C. and a 2nd class Steam Engineer license for Maryland.

Phil and his wife are the proud parents of five children. He and his family reside in Union Bridge, Maryland.

chrisChris Werneke

Operations Manager – Projects

 

As the Operations Manager-Projects for HVAC Concepts, Chris oversees management of the organization’s engineering, programming and installation teams, while ensuring quality systems and customer satisfaction. In addition, Chris oversees all phases of new building automation projects, from sales to design/installation to close out.

A 25-year industry veteran, Chris has been a member of the HVAC Concepts team for almost a decade, in which time he has led some of the organization's largest projects, including the development of a real-time energy management project with included real-time monitoring of 11 buildings and provided data that resulted in a 13% energy savings.

Chris holds a number of professional licenses, including Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Energy Auditor (CEA), LEED Green Associate & Maryland Master HVAC license.

Chris and his wife are the proud parents of two daughters. He and his family reside in Parkton, Maryland.
